MIQE 2.0 Compliance
What is MIQE?
MIQE (Minimum Information for Publication of Quantitative Real-Time PCR Experiments) is a set of guidelines for reporting qPCR data in publications. MIQE 2.0 (Bustin et al., 2025) updated the original 2009 guidelines with new essential items.
AnnealIQ generates a structured MIQE 2.0 compliance report based on the Essential items from the guidelines.
Compliance card
A collapsible card in the analysis panel shows a traffic-light summary: how many items are Reported (green), Partial (amber), or Missing (red), with an overall compliance percentage.
Expand the card to see the full checklist organized by MIQE section. Each item shows its status and source.
Auto-populated items
AnnealIQ auto-detects what it can from your analysis state: reference genes used, statistical tests applied, normalization method, confidence intervals, NTC/NRT control presence, and more. These appear as "Reported" items.
Some items are "Partial" — for example, gene names detected but accession numbers missing.
Filling gaps with the AI
For each missing item, a "Tell the AI" prompt chip suggests a chat message you can send. Click it to tell the AI about your RNA extraction method, reverse transcription protocol, or other experimental details.
The checklist auto-updates as the analysis state changes (e.g., after running stability analysis, the reference gene validation item updates).
