Your qPCR data is processed entirely in your browser. Only experiment descriptions and result summaries are sent to the AI service for interpretation. Your raw Ct values never leave your machine.

What instrument formats do you support?

Bio-Rad CFX Maestro CSV, ABI QuantStudio CSV/TXT, Roche LightCycler CSV, RDML (v1.3+), and generic CSV with AI-assisted column identification. Drop any supported file and AnnealIQ auto-detects the format.

Which analysis methods are available?

DDCt (Livak & Schmittgen, 2001) with multi-reference gene normalization via geometric mean, and Pfaffl efficiency-corrected quantification. Built-in primer efficiency calculator (manual entry or standard curve upload). Reference gene stability analysis via GeNorm M-values and V-values (pairwise variation for optimal reference gene count) and NormFinder.

What statistical tests are included?

Welch’s t-test for two-group comparisons, one-way ANOVA with Tukey HSD for multiple groups, two-way factorial ANOVA with interaction for experiments with two independent variables (e.g., treatment × genotype), and non-parametric alternatives auto-selected when assumptions aren’t met. Effect sizes (Cohen’s d, partial eta-squared) and APA-formatted p-values with 95% bootstrap confidence intervals are included.

Can I export figures for publication?

Yes. 300dpi PNG and SVG export with journal-standard formatting (Arial font, proper sizing, error bars, individual data points). Plus a copy-ready methods section and a FAIR-compliant data export bundle (results, figures, QC report, MIQE checklist, and raw data in one ZIP).

What can’t AnnealIQ do yet?

AnnealIQ focuses on relative quantification (DDCt and Pfaffl). Here’s what’s not yet supported: interplate calibration (multi-plate experiments need manual correction before import), absolute quantification (AnnealIQ handles relative expression only), multi-user collaboration (single-user only), repeated measures ANOVA (within-subjects designs), and three-way or higher factorial ANOVA.
